On February 21, 2023, at roughly 6:40 am, police acquired a report of a construction fireplace at a residence within the 100 block of Frederick Avenue. When police and Brandon Hearth and Emergency Companies (BFES) arrived on scene there have been seen flames and smoke billowing out of the residence. BFES instantly started extinguishing the fireplace. At roughly 7:15 am, BFES made entry into the residence and positioned a deceased male. He’s believed to be the lone occupant from the residence. Brandon Police Service Main Crime Part and the Workplace of the Hearth Commissioner proceed to analyze the reason for the fireplace.
