The Metropolis of Brandon in partnership with the Manitoba City Forest Council is inviting all members of the general public to hitch us in celebrating Arbor Day on Saturday, June 3, 2023 from 11 a.m. to three p.m. This occasion is to happen on the Keystone Centre across the treed space, south of the primary thirteenth Avenue entrance.

Attendees will study extra about arboriculture, timber, and Brandon’s city forest. The next will happen:

Free tree seedlings, whereas provides final

Free wooden chips, whereas provides final

Instructional cubicles and arboriculture tools shows

Free attracts will happen at 3 p.m. If the winner(s) will not be current, they are going to be contacted to select up their prize the next week from the Metropolis of Brandon Parks Advanced, positioned at 2020 McGregor Avenue.

Along with these actions, native musicians from Mecca Productions shall be acting from 12 Midday to 1 p.m. Meals vans will even be on the occasion providing meals and drinks for buy. This family-friendly occasion is open to all residents and can happen rain or shine.
